Position Overview:
Grant Kurian Trucking Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to oversee and enforce workplace safety protocols at our Lynne Lake job site. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in safety management, risk assessment, and emergency response planning. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, identifying causes and corrective measures.
• Maintain safety documentation, including reports, training records, and compliance checklists.
• Collaborate with management to promote a safety-first culture.
• Conduct regular safety drills and provide ongoing safety training.
• Advise on proper PPE usage and requirements.
• Oversee safety equipment inspections and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer or Safety Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and emergency response.
• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication and training abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to workplace safety.

Benefits:
